Terms of service

Effective: Pre-launch · Last updated: 2026-05-30

The parties

These terms govern your use of services offered by PayBridge Investments (Private) Limited, a company registered in Zimbabwe (Company No. 135657A0192026), trading as PayBridge. “You” means the merchant entity that signs up.

Pre-launch scope

PayBridge is operating in pilot. No live payments are processed. No funds are remitted across borders. Any “transaction” you observe during pilot is a simulated record for demonstration purposes. When live capabilities activate per market, we’ll publish replacement terms that you’ll need to accept.

What we provide (when live)

A merchant dashboard, branded checkouts, a routing layer to the right local payment method per market, normalised webhooks, and cross-border settlement through a licensed banking partner.

What you provide

Accurate KYB information. A real beneficial owner. A legitimate business. Reasonable response to fraud-investigation requests. Compliance with the licensed partner’s underwriting decisions.

Money flow

When live payments start, PayBridge will orchestrate and route payments and will not hold buyer funds. Collected funds will be held by a licensed banking partner, which will also act as the authorised dealer for any cross-border remittance. No partner is named here until the agreement is in place.

Fees

No fees are charged during the pilot. Fees are agreed in writing with each business before any live payment is taken. Any later change requires written notice.

Termination

Either party may terminate with reasonable notice. PayBridge may suspend immediately if compelled by a regulator, a banking partner, or a credible fraud signal. Outstanding balances are settled out per the standard cycle even on termination.

Liability

PayBridge’s liability is limited to fees collected from you in the trailing 12 months. We don’t insure against buyer fraud you could have detected with reasonable care, FX moves between collection and settlement (handled at quote time), or regulator decisions beyond our control.

Governing law

Zimbabwean law, exclusive jurisdiction of Zimbabwean courts — for the pre-launch pilot. Live activation per market may add the jurisdiction of that market where required.
