How can we help?

Straight answers about what PayBridge does today, help if you were sent a payment link, and a way to reach the team.

Where we are

What “pilot” means

PayBridge is onboarding its first businesses. We are not processing live payments yet: no customer is charged through PayBridge, and no money is settled.

Live payments start only once our payment partner agreement and the required regulatory approvals are in place. We’ll update this page when that happens. Until then, any PayBridge checkout runs in demo mode and says so at the top of the screen.

Questions

Common questions

Can I take real payments with PayBridge today?

Not yet. We're onboarding pilot businesses now. Live payments start only once our payment partner and regulatory approvals are in place. Until then, checkout links run in demo mode and no money moves.

Which payment methods will my customers be able to use?

In Zimbabwe, our first market: EcoCash, OneMoney, and Visa or Mastercard cards. As we open further Southern African markets we plan to add MTN MoMo and M-Pesa. Mobile money customers approve each payment on their own phone.

Who can apply?

Registered businesses, in Southern Africa or elsewhere, that sell to customers in the region. During the pilot we're onboarding businesses with customers in Zimbabwe. You'll need your company details, registration number, the owner's details and the bank account you want to be paid into.

How much does it cost?

Applying is free. We agree pricing with each pilot business before live payments start, so you'll know the fees before any payment is taken.

How long does approval take?

We review every application individually and reply by email. If we need more information, we'll tell you exactly what.

Where does PayBridge operate?

We're building for Southern Africa, starting in Zimbabwe. Further markets in the region are planned, and we'll announce each country only when it's ready.

I was sent a PayBridge payment link. Is it genuine?

Only pay through links a business you know sent you directly. PayBridge will never ask for your EcoCash or OneMoney PIN by phone, SMS or email. You only ever enter it on your own handset. If anything looks wrong, contact us before paying.
